- White Water Rafting - Clear Creek River, with the coincidental conjunction of the Chicago River! Rapid names: Phoenix (class IV), Popcorn, Golden Shower, Tornado Alley, Deliverance and Slamdancer to name a few. You know that you are in for some rough and wet tumbles when one of the crew members of your rafting company notifies you that the additional person is awaiting you just after the next rapid with the "throw bag", which is a bag containing 75 feet of rope that is thrown at your head if you should be ejected from the raft.
- Alpine Slide Fun - Scooted down the longest alpine luge track in Colorado - 3,000 feet and a vertical distance of 600 feet
- Enjoyed Independence Day fun Winter Park style by attending the town's festival in Frasier recreational park - lots of cute families, pooches, personal fireworks (never seen these up-close before since CA has too many laws prohibiting them) and a traditional fireworks show.
