The Long and Winding Road

When 50% of your email volume is dedicated to party activities and themes, it is safe to say that you are on your way to the big event.

While I dream of moments like this:

Happening in rooms like this:

This is really what nobody tells you about and what it really feels like:

Many times, the process will drain you, exhaust you and burn up your last bit of creative energy, but don't forget that this is just one day in your life - you've managed to make it this far and the feel of your party will be more treasured for it's company than for the chair covers.

I won't even mention the social media clause discussed today.  That's one that I am sure to enjoy nightmares about later.
